We can't stop cooking out of the cookbook (and I cannot keep copies on my shelf!) We had a potluck here a couple weeks ago and devoured the Creamy Avocado-Potato Salad (so creamy), Glowing Strawberry-Mango Guacamole, Crispy Almond Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies, plus much more. And be certain not to skip the Soul Soothing African Peanut Stew that lives up to its name and Angela's inventive and delicious Homemade Yolos. If you're anything like us, you will be hooked from the first recipe.

I don't know where I found out about this book, but it was pre-ordered on a whim; I'd never even heard of the blog. I've been a vegetarian in the past, and have always eaten a low-meat diet anyway, but I'd been toying with the idea of returning to vegetarianism, and perhaps going further by going vegan. A book a friend recommended convinced me about going vegan, but the recipes left me disappointed. Most of them contained foods I either can't stand as the key component, ingredients that are difficult to come by in the united kingdom, or were just meat recipes made vegan.

I am sorry to write such a crucial review, but I am hoping it can help others who are considering what they want from a vegan cookbook.vegan recipes lunch
